I just bought my ticket tonight. It added up being about $210. I am gonna fly to Nashville and go from their, all and all a little pricey but worth it.

Some personal faves that will be there.

    Radiohead
    Beck
    Tom Petty and the HeartBreakers
    Ben Folds
    Atmosphere
    Death Cab for Cutie

There is over 80 total artists and runs june 16-18

I would spend a lot more than 200 to see Thom Yorke.

    Seriously.

    It's sad.

This and Coachella, and SXSW & ACL, Wall of Sound Festival and Cornerstone Festival...I swear, I blow all my money so easily on these damn amazing music festivals.

I really really really really thought about going this year - after all, I live in the freaking city that Bonnaroo is being held. But I just can't see myself paying that much money when I really only want to see like 6 or 7 acts. Plus I can't see myself having to deal with 70,000 or so people. Hopefully, Radiohead will come to Nashville by themselves and I can catch them like I did with Sigur Ros.

If I lived there I would be there. It is an incredible line up. I might go to Coachella, but it is so damned hot out there. The price is a lot, but I haven't been to a music festival in a long time.

Bonnaroo has some of the acts I like that will never be at a festival like Coachella. I can't imagine going to Bonaroo and getting to see Radiohead, Steve Earl, Elvis Costello, Deathcab for Cutie, Son Volt, Bright Eyes, and Cat Power.

I like those bands a lot. I would also like to check out Ricky Skaggs, and Stephen Malmus who I've been neglecting since he's gone solo. That would be a good chance for me to see him.

But in addition to the tickets I would have to travel, and I just don't have the money right now.

I'm saving as much as possible for a big SE Asia trip for next year, and as much as I would enjoy seeing all those bands, I just can't do it.
