    Does anyone here play counterstrike???Know a good server?? I play it a little too much sometimes. We use basketball themed decals and mine is ripped from a wallpaper on his site.
    Im sure u are all interested.

    I have played Counter Strike a bit, but I am a bigger fan of Team Fortress Classic for Half Life... I am a master soldier on the Hunted level.

    I used to play when it first came out (beta 5 and other betas). It's an awesome game, imo, but I just got burned out on it. I used to know some really good servers but my program is out of date and I can't find a working link to 1.1. If I find out what their IP is I'll post up here..

    DaDakota... let me know when you get that server set up.

    I suck at this game, but I have been infatuated with it for about 2 months. After work some of us would play Half-Life on our network, and migrated to CS after a while. Just an intense and fun game. Unfortunately, I'm trying to get my computer up to speed... been playing software mode for a while believe it or not and just got something I can run OpenGL with at home (I've never really played much in the way of computer games at home).

    Sorry for bringing up this semi-old topic again.

    I will definately visit your servers, to see how good you guys are, hopefully it's worthwhile [​IMG]

    As for my earlier post, all the IP's I had were gone, because they were outdated or relocated to new IP's...

    By the way, my handle is "RefleX" with a clan tag before it.

    To any of you guys who are into first-person shooters, this is a really good game. You can get it in the Half-Life Platinum edition I think, with HL and a few other games. Definately worth the money. Or, if you already have Half-Life you can download counter-strike at www.counter-strike.net.

    Instead of creating a new topic, i'll revive this one.

    Last night I finally got to play counter-strike. It was somewhat disappointing to me.

    For the past month, I was playing a different game ... you could say it is a counter strike rip-off,as they are almost exactly the same, except much better in my opinion. (CS would be much better if it had better graphics)

    The game I have been playing is called Tactical Ops. Its a free mod for Unreal TE, but it kicks ass.

    Has anyone played both of these? What are your opinions on the two?

    I used to play CS all the time, so much I actually got tired of the game, believe it or not. Then, about a week ago, my friend figured out how to cheat. So, of course, I had him come to my house and hook me up. Now I can see through walls and get head shots through doors. [​IMG] I love CS again!

    That argument works if it's single-player but on multi-player games it means you're an ******* cause you waste everyone's time. It's also usually a big clue that the cheater has no skill.

    As I said in my earlier post, I quit playing CS because I had played the game for over a year, and I got tired of it. I didn't get the cheat because I sucked and wanted to become unstopable, I was already good at the game. My friend offered me the cheat and I took it. I use it because it makes the game fun for me, not because I suck. Oh, and I'm not an *******, I'm a nice guy actually! [​IMG]

    I liked TFC and CS. I recently started playing Day of Defeat, which is a half life mod. I love it. Totally addicted. It is a WWII US vs Nazi game.
