Wireless on (Sony) Laptop

    Anyone experience problem connecting to wireless network on (Sony) laptops: "wireless network connection not available...not in range"?

    Which Sony Laptop is it? Do you have Bluetooth on the Laptop?

    thats an xp problem.

    get a different program to control your wireless network card. and you should have no problems

    actually SP2's wireless software is pretty solid. Overall it was a major upgrade over the junk that was on SP1.

    In terms of this problem, is the wireless connection not working at all regardless of how close you are to the source of the signal?

    Has the wireless card worked before or did this problem come up the first time you tried connecting to a network?

    The only reason i ask if it has bluetooth is becuase there has been problems when you have both Bluetooth and the Wireless both on.

    That was a small problem with the baby VAIO laptops like the one i have. I have only had that problem appear a few times.

    make sure your wireless switch is on. that kicked my ass for like 2 hours when i first got my laptop with built in wireless. haha
