    So, will it be TCU and CO in the Houston Bowl? TCU is playing a big12 team....I think it was either CO, Nebraska, or Iowa State. They failed, so CO will play them IIRC.

    That would suck. But for anyone who wants to root against Texas, here's some help for your cause:

    In the 8(?) year history of the B12 Championship game, North and South teams have alternated winning every year. This year would be the north's turn.

    In addition, 4 times a national title contending team has come in and lost in an pretty big upsets (Nebraska in '96, K-State in '98 (?), Texas in 2001, and OU in 2003). OU still made the title game, though.

    That North-South streak ends this year. :)

    This would suck. After all the hype, I really want to play USC, win or lose. That game would be one of the most hyped games in a long, long time.
