Knight Rider returns Man David Hasselhoff is pathetic! Does the guy need a job this badly? With that being said, I was a big Knight Rider fan in the 80's so I'll check it out and hope they don't tarnish the legacy of Knight Rider to much: By ABCNEWS.com Knight Rider will ride again. David Hasselhoff is planning to bring his 1980s hit into the 21st century. The former Baywatch hunk recently told Entertainment Weekly that Michael Knight is coming out of retirement, hiring a couple of kids, and bringing an updated version of Kitt the talking car back to battle criminals. "I'll be the older, cool boss who oversees this incredibly updated car," he said. The original voice of Kitt, Screen Actors Guild President William Daniels, has already committed to the project. His credits also include portraying a teacher on Boy Meets World and an acerbic doctor on St. Elsewhere. Yeah Hasselhoff, you're SO cool! ------------------ "Win if you can, lose if you must but always cheat!" - Jesse Ventura [This message has been edited by RocksMillenium (edited June 20, 2001).]
YES! That show kicked major ass man. You know you guys loved watching Hasseloff and his car flying in the air with the Theme music playing. ------------------ "Break off the block like Maurice Green" --- Steve Francis President of the Moochie Norris fan club.
The question is: Will Garth Knight be making a comeback. I always loved the Garth episodes, but I like all "Evil Twin"-type television. ------------------
maybe they will get Pamela Anderson Lee to play the chick who fixes the car? That is...if they can get past her stupidity. Imagine her talking techno car jibberish. It may be a turn off. ------------------
I hope the car is like a VIPER or an Acura NSX... not some crappy Trans Am... or whatever the heck KITT was... can anyone tell me what KITT stood for? the acronym? rH ------------------ visit: groovehouse.org
Knight Industries Two Thousand (KITT) I really did know this without looking it up... really I did. ------------------ The death penalty SUCKS.
Now if they can bring back Buck Rogers and Battlestar Galactica!! anyone seen Erin Grey lately? rH ------------------ visit: groovehouse.org
Of course, there were two nemises. There was Garth's big truck Goliath, and there was KARR - the KITT prototype that showed up in a couple of episodes and ran (or drove, as it were) amok. ------------------
I heard that a new Battlestar Galactica series or movie or something was in the works (and not just the Non-Survivor Richard Hatch pushing for it like has been for years). And Erin Grey still looks great. Unfortunately, she doesn't wear any tight spandex in those infomercials I've seen her in recently. ------------------
I thought Blue Thunder was ten times better than Airwolf. ------------------ I'm so amazingly cool you could keep a side of meat in me for a month. I am so hip that I have difficulty seeing over my pelvis.
I know you arent talking about my Trans Am rockHEAD.... ------------------ "We make more, but we spend more." Patrick Ewing [This message has been edited by Drewdog (edited June 20, 2001).]
I know they need to bring back that truck that was more indestructible then Kitt! Now that was a bad@ss truck! ------------------ "Win if you can, lose if you must but always cheat!" - Jesse Ventura
