    We're the only series that starts on Wednesday, so all others start on Tuesday and the NLDS game twos are both on Thursday... and since the Padres/Cards get a day off in between games 1 & 2 I suppose that is why they go the early start times... that and the fact the Braves vs. Astros is a better series then Padres vs. Cards.

    Finally my MLB.com all access package will pay off. Still wish FOX was carrying the game so I could ignore calls and watch the game on the big screen in the conference room at work.

    gotta feel good about the chances with our pitching! :)

    offense should be a wash, but perhaps a slight edge to the astros with lane coming on strong

    equal out if not top that trio.

    throw in biggio/taveras/lamb and I think we've got the slight edge in bats.

    it's not much , but an edge it is I believe.

    Man, the Braves owned us this season having a 5-1 record against us. And they outscored us 42-13, IIRC. :(

    BUT, i think that was mainly back when we sucked (earlier in the year). I see us winning in 6.

    Looks like I'm capturing the first hr of the game on my pc.

    that top trio might be better but, without looking at numbers, i definitely don't think our offense as a whole is nearly as good. our pitching will carry us past them though.
