    BOOOYAH!!! Here come the Astros!!!!!! This was unbelievable. Swept those bi**hes IN St. Louis. I lived there for five years, I cant stand the Cardinals and their fans.

    The Astros finished 115-145 at Busch Stadium, which is being demolished after the season.

    :eek: They are demolishing that ball field?! It looks great! I love that ball park, the archs around the top are awesome.

    It has been reported that the guts/internal infrastructure of the stadium are crumbling. The upkeep is too expensive or so the owners say. Remember the owners of the Cardinals are not local St. Louis citizens. I am sure they want a ballpark with all the bells and whistles, and all those important luxury suites. I guess you could also complain about the narrow concourses inside the stadium. Busch Stadium is a lot like the Astrosdome, just without the lid on top. I was there once when it was so hot and humid, I wished there was a lid on top. The new ballpark will have an open outfield with a nice view of the Arch.
