A-Train? That was you with the stench? At first I thought it was the NOLA after-wet smell, but now I can smell you're nuts.

For a LooOooOooong time, I picked up my dad's Aramis every now and then, and I smelled like him, some chicks at school said: "Hey, I just met your dad... he smells like you... does he steal YOUR cologne?" :D

I use CURVE now. A good friend of mine gave me a bottle in the case a while back and I still haven't opened it. I plan to use it as soon as I run out of this one. It's already been about 3 years since she gave it to me. Does anyone know what's the shelf life of the bottle unopened?

Lacoste Style in Play is the main one I wear. I think it's only been out for about a year or two. I like wearing it because it smells good and it's a unique thing to wear. I like Acqua di Gio, however, so many guys wear it that it's kinda lost a little bit. The first cologne I ever had was Tommy...haha. ;)

I almost got the Annick Goutal one you mentioned myself, except that it ended up being too strong for my terrible allergies :(

A few others I forgot that are in the closet:

    Issey Miyake
Hermes Eau D'Orange Verte (free at LeMeridien Hotels :))
Sisley Eau de Campagne (my favorite)

It's an older cologne (came out a loooong time ago) that's obscure which is probably one reason why you can't find it in "regular" stores. You can get it online at a ton of yahoo store-type URL's. I've heard good things about it from at least one other person. I may buy some just for the hell of it.

That sounds like a good combination.

Is there anyone else who would rather just shower often, use deodorant, and smell like a clean and normal person? (with some of the mild fragrances that come from normal cleansing products, like those mentioned above)

That's my approach too... I got tired of being stuck on the shuttle bus at UT with girls who wore enough fragrance to school to choke a horse.
