Edit:

ps. 1998-99 was the year of Panic for Pippen. Barkley had left, Clyde had left, Hakeem was faltering, and there was no one in the pipeline. Dickerson and Mobley were taken in the draft that year. That's when the slide started although I might put it back to the year we got Barkley.
