    where'd you get the strokes info? website has said a tentative January date on the album...if it's getting bumped up to September, yippeeeee

    Placebo is working on a new album right now which should be out in early 2006, I'm looking forward to that.

    You're right. The album is to be released in the new year, but the first single is set to be released in October.

    I guess my typing incorporated some of my wishful thinking.

    Man, after being majorly disappointed with the new releases of DMB, Weezer, and to a lesser extent, Ben Folds, this is music to my ears!

    I needs me some new DCFC ASAP.

    The new Death Cab has already leaked. If it wasn't frowned upon here I'd post the link for your listening pleasure. I also have a link for some excellent Postal Service remixes as well...

    I love Ben's voice and songwriting but I could never get into Postal Service. Too much electronics for my taste.

    Glyde, if you like Postal Service, you will LOVE DCFC.
