I'm just curious (and I'm bored as h*ll on Friday afternoon at work) but how many email addresses do you have? This includes school, work, personal, ones you don't you often, etc.

I have 2 - work and hotmail. No intentions of getting more.

I have only one. I almost never give it out, because of that. I need a "Deckard" e-mail address that doesn't give away my identity. Perhaps I should get one at Androids Anonymous. That, or at Blade Runners Do it Deeper. Can't decide. :p

(sigh.... cut and paste, cut and paste)

    Four that I regularly check.

-Personal one that I've had for a while. Still used by my mother and old friends.
-Work address. I try to keep most personal stuff off of it.
-One that comes with one of my internet service providers. I have a few people writing to that one, and my livejournal reply notification goes there.
-One I've started using more recently that: doesn't have my real name in an obvious place, and also that the other person in my house doesn't know about/ expect to see up on the screen all the time. Sometimes you just need a private place to talk.

1 Hotmail, for MSN Messenger and all "junk mail" uses.
1 Gmail, for online file storage and swapping.
1 Personal, for my day to day things, friends, family, etc.
1 Business, use for my online businesses
1 Ebay, use only for eBay transactions
1 PayPal, use only for PayPal transactions not related to eBay

I have about 10 email "forwarders" pointing to my various email addresses as well. I know it sounds like a lot, but I have 3 PCs to manage them all :p

1 @comcast.net (my ISP) -- I never give this one out
2 @gmail.com -- the one with my name in it gets used for my Strat-O-Matic baseball league, the other one is used to register for websites where I don't want to ID myself
    1 @yahoo.com -- I probably wouldn't check it if I didn't use my.yahoo.com as my home page
1 @eithkay.com (my webhost) -- my primary email account
    1 @work -- except I got fired 3 weeks ago :(

Plus, there's one wildcard address @eithkay.com that collects anything else sent to that domain. I use different email addresses for each company I do business with -- clutch@e.c, ebay@e.c, papajohns@e.c, etc. All of them go to one mailbox that I can filter by address. If some company decides to sell my address, then all I have to do is redirect the mail sent to that address to the trash (or /dev/null, depending on how I feel about them).

6, 3 for websites that ask for an email (or software). I don't use them with friends and family, just junk.

2 I use everyday, and another just for storage.
