No, this isn't a Rockets thread about whether we should sign him or not. Just a thread talking about the absolute lack of buzz. Am I the only one surprised about how not a single team is talking to him? His agent was sending flowers to Denver and talking up the press about how much Spree would love to go there, and zilch.

Did he officially get himself blackballed after last season and the infamous comment?

I don't know if he got blackballed. His lethargic play last year destroyed his value. Probably nobody sees him any more as a starting calibur SG and his attitude makes him not worth the trouble as a bench player. Blackballed seems too strong a term. If he really has been blackballed, we haven't heard the end of the story and something will come out. But I think he will be a reserve on someone's roster next season.

Actually, with The Mayor out I could see a Spree/DW deal perhaps, perhaps even Sammy and James.

He was a very good player, but now he is old, he was a superstar now he is an average player. I liked him not anymore

I can see him reuniting with some of his favorite teammates, either with Webber and the Sixers, Camby and the Nuggets, or even Cassell and the Clippers.
