This weekend will be the best for a Houston comedy show

    I know there are a lot of people here that love a good comedy show, well this weekend is one of the best I have seen to get out and see two GREAT shows... We have Jim Gaffigan (Laff Stop) and Brian Regan (Improv) in town this weekend (July15-17).. If you like comedy these are 2 of the best stand-ups I have EVER seen, to me it doesn’t get any better than Jim and Brian is up there too.. Just wanted to give a heads up for all the comedy lovers here..

    People into comedy should also know that Rudyard's has comedy nights upstairs on Tuesdays. Sometimes they're horrible, and sometimes they're hilarious. Good stuff. I'm usually there.

    A lot of the local contest-winners do stuff up there, but it's advertised as a workshop where comics try out new jokes. The open-mic portion is a bit of a mixed blessing.

    Cool good to know.. on a happy note, laffstop called me today and said I won 5 free tickets to Jim Gaffigan this Friday.. HELL YEAH!!! :D

    Did anybody go see any of these shows. I saw Brian Regan on Thurs...really good show...one of the best I've seen in a while.
