Why would we want a guy who's in jail every other month?

No way I want Spree for the MLE. If we can get him for around 2 million for 2/3 yrs I would do it but no way for the MLE. We need to get our PF first and then focus on signing a SG/SF.

I'd rather go after Alan Houston if he were to become a FA.

Although I did like how Spree would bring it every night. Maybe JVG can light that fire in him again. Not a bad last resort, only if he'd keep his hole shut.

I thought the guy couldn't feed his family on "only" $14 mil/yr? If he signs for the LLE we'd have to throw in some food stamps or help him find a second job or something.

Do food stamps count against the salary cap?

I thought at first you were trying to say that I'd be hearing Spree's voice:

    "Welcome to Wal-Mart!"

"Hey, Spree, where's the shoe section?"

"I suppose," answers Spree, "it's over there under the mo**erf***ing sign that says, 'SHOES', mo**erf***er!"

"Hey...it isn't my fault you can't feed your fami----AGGH! HELP (gasp)! HELP! (voice constrained) HE'S CHOKING ME!"

Spree doesn't help us get younger OR quicker in the backcourt.
