    anyone know of any places hiring? in between jobs just dosnt cut it and i need something to do other than sitting here hoping for some news on the rox. :) thanks.

    My company is hiring experienced C/C++ programmers. Its a NASA contract with Boeing, so you would have to drive all the way out to Clear Lake. We do software testing for the International Space Station. There are 3 positions open right now in my group. You have to have a CS or Engineering 4 year degree.     Cimarron is currently looking for a Software Engineer to plan, develop and perform Formal Qualification Testing on the ISS flight software. Major duties will include mapping Software requirements to test procedures and scenarios; script development in C++; test tool definition and development; Software test design and execution; development and execution of detailed Test Plans; development and execution of detailed Test Procedures; development and execution of detailed Test Scenarios; completion of detailed test reports; completion of technical reports and presentations; and provide support for meetings as needed.

    Required skills and education include:
    - Experience with formal Software and/or Hardware Verification and Validation Testing.
    - Test Control Language, C++, real-time design, and hardware/software integration experience.
    - B.S. or equivalent experience
    Desired skills include:
    - 3 years experience working with DOD STD 2167 or equivalent specification standards for Formal Testing
    - Unix shell scripting experience
    - C Language Programming experience
    - Demonstrated ability to write technical reports
    - Ability to support 7 day a week 24 hour a day operations (this only occurs as testing demands dictate)
    - B.S./M.S. in Computer Science

    sorry about the lack of information. although i would like to be qualified enough to get a nice job, just not thinkin i can get somethin like that at this point. ive completed about 2yrs in web design courses. thats what i like to do but still tryin to figure out what to do exactly...
