Austin has a Gamestop in Barton Creek Square Mall. But I asked them about a DreamCast in December and their deal wasn't really much better than Best Buy, esp. considering that it wasn't new equipment.

Umm, yeah... thats cuz Dreamcast doesn't use CDs. It uses GD-ROMs (a cute little name Sega's manufacturer came up with). It's a proprietary format that holds more than a normal CD (1.4GB to be exact... that's where the "G" in "GD" comes in) only retains the same shape. Most Dreamcast games take up a large amount of the room they have to use, so thats why you can't burn and w**** off Dreamcast games like you can Playstation games. Not as easily anyway.

Oh, and if you can get to West Oaks Mall on the corner of Hwy 6 and Westhiemer, they were selling Dreamcasts in KB Toys for $69.99. Information only useful if you Do live within the Houston area. [IMG]
