Just joined NetFlix for 1 week free trial.

Not true.

I have 3 Blockbuster envelopes in front of me. All of them are sent to a PO box here in Houston. The turnaround time for me has been quick.

I'll be honest, I haven't used the service enough to justify staying a member. I'll probably cancel soon.

Netflix is the bomb. Love it. In fact, I love it so much, that I try and get my friends, family, strangers on the subway, anyone else to try it.

By the way---if memory serves, there was a good long thread about Netflix vs. Blocbuster several months ago. It had lots of in-depth comparisons, reviews, experiments, anecdotes, etc.

 

I Had used Netflix for a year & a half & then I bought into Blockbusters pillow talk & fugred that it sounded like a better deal. It was the worst month ever. The turn around on movies was almost a week & a half! whereas Netflix will send more out the next day. Also, you accasionally get the "long wait" on a movie from Netflix, but it seemed like ANYTHING that you put in your queue with Bbuster was a "Very Long Wait." Netflix is muy better.

 

I just recently cancelled my Netflix membership days ago. How do I go about getting 2 months free (along with a new DVD of my choice) from Blockbuster?

I've looked on their website and have not seen any such offer...

 

I've actually seen a 1 for 9.99 price level.

And they don't have a 3 for 14.99... there's a 3 for 17.99, 2 for 14.99, 2 for 11.99... no 3 for 14.99 though.

If I had to choose... Netflix hands down. I hate bockbuster w/ a passion now.
