Who is gonna win the French Open?

Nadal is looking damn good. Too bad Nadal and Federer can't play in the finals.

My pick Nadal vs Safin in the finals. I like Coria too. That little munchkin has got heart.

Too bad there aren't any outrageous Americans left in the men's bracket. 3rd round, the best you Yankees can do? :D

The Safin/Ferrero had everything you wanted: power, patience, off-court drama, history (good and bad) between the players.

Safin could have been/may still be (but unlikely) one of the top players of the game. He's my favorite to win the French.

What is the deal with the Williams sisters?! It's pretty clear they are content with their off-court activities to commit to practicing for the slams.

What is the deal with Clijsters? Can she *ever* close out tough matches? Maybe she needs to dial Seles' number.

Replace "Clijsters" with "Mauresmo" and the same could be said. Maybe Amelie needs to dial Martina or Billie Jean's number. Heck, maybe Conchita can tell her what it takes to win a major.

Anyhow, I like Sharapova -- she's my favorite for the women's.

I can't tell you how proud I am of the American men who joined together to boycott that sissy French tennis tourney.

instead of "boycotting" the french, i rather have an american stomp on the testicles of their opponents and then give them the american one finger salute.

    Good one :D.

Okay, to be fair, I did not personally play against him, but my team played against the team he was playing for when he was still more or less a kid...13 years old or so. But I was at position 5 (out of 6, so I am almost the worst guy in my team) for my team and he was the no. 1 for the other team, and he beat our no. 1, an adult, 6:0, 6:0 in no time.

He lives in Germany, near the city where I grew up, and played for TC Salmtal (a lower division team) for a year or two or so.

Any Roger Federer and Justine Henin fans out there? I'd be very disappointed if their playing styles are not liked by clutch bbs tennis fans.
