Anyone picking this up today? I got it this morning before work, but just got back from work, have it in now, sounds great so far.

I like the new single a lot (can't remember the name) -- didn't really care much for 'be yourself' a little boring I think.

Great stuff. They're one of my favorite bands right now.

I wasn't thrilled on my first listen unlike their first CD which was one of my favorite CDs of 2003-2004.

A lot of albums have come out the past month. Audislave is the only one I haven't listened to yet. Short reviews for all albums after first listen (which usually isn't enough):

    1. Gorillaz (Demon Days) - One listen and it seemed okay, I think this one will sound better after more listens.

    2. Stephen Malkmus (Face the Truth) - Don't like the weird songs...love the more convential ones.

    3. Audioslave (Out of Exile) - TBD

    4. Mercury Rev (The Secret Migration) - pleasant

    5. Eels (Blinking Lights) - Love it!

    6. Nine Inch Nails (With Teeth) - probably the most conventional NIN album...I like about 75% of it

    7. Weezer (Make Believe) - sometimes good, but mostly embarassing.

    8. The Raveonettes (Pretty in Black) - catchy 50's pop...mediocre

    9. Spoon (Gimme Fictiong) - gets off to a great start - lost interest in the middle. Definitely one that needs repeated listens.

    10. System of a Down (Mesmerize) - rocks better and louder than any album I've heard in a while...now if just their lyrics weren't so damn stupid.

    11. Sleater-Kinney (The Woods) - I'd say so far this is the best one I've bought this month. The girls could teach 99% of male rock bands a thing or two.
