Are you talking about the fried or not fried spring rolls? The fried ones are good and I can eat them anytime. The not fried ones I cant eat. It feels like I'm holding a dick in my hand so I sure as hell cant put it in my mouth. It just has a skin like texture.

Reminds me of a band that was in LA while I lived out there.

Their name was "Live Nude Girls".

First off: Pole, that was awesome. Pho King should definitely be a name for these restaurants.

Second: Where is a good Pho place around the Galleria/Post Oak? I've never tried Pho, and today seems as good as any.

that Pho King Franchise went to ORLANDO. He's still a good player, in my book.

Pho is good stuff.... I miss Vietnamese food. (we don't have any out here :( ) I also like the dry noodle bowls (yes, I know they're "Americanized") and the sandwiches... though some of those sandwiches have weird stuff in them. I used to eat this kind of stuff all the time in north Austin. One time I got a sandwich with these translucent rubbery stringy things in them and to this day I don't know what they were. :)

Pho Binh Trailer is good, but so is Pho Binh on Wilcrest/Beechnut.

For Banh Xeo - Bodard on Bellaire and Ranchester makes a great one.

All joking aside, I crave Pho now almost as much as I crave Tom Kha Gai at Kanomwan.

And that's saying a lot for me. It really is good stuff.

Don't be afraid of the blood cake.

Well, y'all were no help for lunch, so I went with Taco's.

Somewhere on this web, there is a discussion from some country titled "what is a taco?"

Maybe that's all spring rolls are. You never know with those Chinese places or Taco Bell.

I love Vietnamese food. If that's a secret around here, let it be one no more.

Darn it. I would go pick me up some Vietnamese food for dinner right now... except there isn't any in this entire town. It's probably all an hour away. :( Enjoy it if you have it.

When I lived in north Austin, I used to go to places like (Pho Hoang? - at Metric and Rutland) and just order whatever looked good and take it home...
