What are some of the coolest movie characters of all time. Here are a few that come to mind of the top of my head.

Trent (Swingers): T had so many great lines in this movie it made Vince Vaughn a star. Vince should be sending Jon Favreau a portion of all future checks he gets from his movies.

"There's nothing wrong with letting the girls know that you're money and that you want to party."

Caster Troy (Face/Off): Caster Troy was so cool as a villan I actually wanted him to prevail over that wuss Sean Archer.

"If I were to send you flowers where would I... no, let me rephrase that. If I were to let you suck my tongue, would you be grateful?"

Mr. Blonde (Reservior Dogs): Mike Madson plays a cool cat in just about every movie he does, but this one is his best.

"Eddie, if you don't stop talking like a b****, I'm gonna slap you like a b****"

Wooderson (Dazed and Confused): Mathew Macahnay was excellent in this part as a guy who couldn't let go of the high school experince.

Wooderson: "Say, man, you got a joint?"
Mitch: "No, not on me, man."
Wooderson: "It'd be a lot cooler if you diid."

    Any others?

Roger O Thornhill from North by Northwest. I can't imagine anyone else playing that character other than Cary Grant.

    Sean Connery as James Bond.

... I always thought people were just Bond snobs when they dismissed all the other Bonds...until I saw some of them old flicks.

Yes, Sean Connery was awesome as James Bond. My favorite line from him was in Never Say Never Again.

Fatima Blush: "Oh, how reckless of me. I made you all wet."
James Bond: "Yes, but my martini is still dry. My name is James."

    What a pimp!

    O-Dog (Menace II Society):

"I feel sorry for your mother."

"What'd you say about my mama?"

Wasn't Trent based on Vaughn anyway? I'll bet he improvised some of the best lines from that movie.

    hands down

    Marv from Sin City

Mickey Rourke played this character beautifully.

EDIT: I take Marv back, if it was the most BADASS, it would be him, but I would put him up there as cool. :)

Also anybody from Ocean's Eleven. George Clooney and Brad Pitt stand out the most.

Michael Douglas' character in Falling Down is pretty cool :)
