Clearly if it's possible you think he will? anyone see how he looked at Luke walton after that play that backfired......

    Has he alienated his team?

Yeah, I think Kobe probably knows that Walton is the franchise of that team, so the only way for Kobe to get away from Luke is for Kobe to request that Kobe be traded. Maybe the Lakers can get a few horrible contracts for Kobe.

I hope Kobe bites it. I'm going to be seriously disappointed in any above average FAs that join this team.

I don't see Kobe requesting an out, and I certainly don't see management granting him one anyway. Not anytime soon.

Doesn't he have a "no trade clause" in his contract. I read that in another thread somewhere.

Kobe isn't going anywhere. They just gave him a huge contract booted shaq out of town and decided to build around Kobe. Luke walton the future? I don't know about that one.

Kobe will demand a trade right after Yao re-signed with the Rockets.

It would only be to protect him from an unwanted trade. He could waive the clause if he wanted. Don't know if he has it or not. I think he would have been eligible for it though.

This might have been discussed in another thread recently, but I thought it was only baseball contracts that have no trade clauses, and NBA ones do not,..or am I recalling incorrectly.
