I've mentioned this before, but I'm doing this. Tuesday, Feb. 22nd. I'll be turning 33 the Sunday before. I'm thinking $5 entry fee, but that's optional. Winner take all, be it money, or bragging rights. The Rox play the Sonics that night as well, so there'll be additional viewing. BW3 in Midtown. I should be able to reserve the area. I don't care if I'm the only one going, I'm doing this. Let's go! Woooo!
Are you talking about playing on the new Golden Tee Live, or on Golden Tee Fore 2005 ? (I'm pretty good on GTF 2005, but I haven't played GTLive yet) .. and I promise not to complain about the smoke ... and, just 'cause I'm up for the tournament doesn't mean you're not a moron. Let's not jump to conclusions. -- droxford
OK, the poll is a tad anonymous. Please state if you're going to come on Tuesday if you are. So far, it is: Fatty RM Tex Droxford Anyone else?
Im pretty sure if you could get ahold of ryan(tall guy from the Rudz get together) he would show in a NY minute...the dude loves that game.. me personally....Im not much of one for video golf...but Im always down for a beer or two while watching the Rockets with my fellow nutcases.... you talking about the BW3 in Rice Village? also....where is the "Fatty is a nutcase" option?
I think the one he's talking about is the newer one, on W Gray right near Downtown. It's actually a little closer for us coming from the southeast side. I may be able to do this on the way home from work....I'll have my woman with me though, is that allowed or are you aiming for a sausage fest?
Yeah - it's the one at Smith and W. Gray (just barely south of downtown). I have no objections to Harrisment bringing his woman with him. -- droxford
OK, so now we have: Fatty RM Tex Drox RM 95 R2K Harrisment Don't worry about not being good. I've given up on the money part. This will be about watching the Rox game and enjoying some video golf whilst drinking. Women are welcome. I'll try to get some out, but women are fickle about playing video games... We'll see. And to those that can't play well, I was horrible when I started, also. Playing with somebody who is good helps you enjoy the game a hell of a lot more. I started playing this in 1997. I was horrible. But I learned it, and ended up getting better and better. I'm still nowhere near as good as I used to be, but it's still fun. C'mon people! Cowboy up!
Ummm.. what's the max number of players that the game supports on one round? isn't it four players? -- droxford
It's four, but if we have more we can get on two or more games, and play the same course. Best individual score wins. Then, we can get the best four scores, and play another round to see who's the best.
