    Hey guys,

I've been selling a few expensive things on ebay... and twice I've been duped. The listing charges total $40 each... I don't think it's fair that I have to pay this however if the person doesn't actually pay up! If I list that they have not paid... what should I do? Does ebay still charge me?

I've never not been paid, but you can e-mail the second highest bidder and tell him that the first buyer reneged and it is still available.

Another thing is to post that you won't accept bids unless the buyer has positive feedback. Ebay will let you take down an erroneous bid.

Unless you're selling a ghost in a jar or an inflatable spongebob, that is.

hmmm... the thing is I looked at my account and it's charging me for it. It even adds a Final Value Fee... because it shows as being bought by the bogus bidder. Second chance isn't worth it, seeing that people were scared off when they suspected a fraud.

I think you have to file a Non-Paying Bidder form for them to credit your account back for the fees they took out. It's not too bad, but I think they still hit you for 2 listing fees though (IIRC).
