    Statutory rape or not, isn't that punishable by prison?
    I know he's an athlete with money so he won't get anything except a slap on a wrist and a large legal bill, but why wouldn't it have a possible prison term?

    Common punishment is 10 years probation. Ive seen some of the cases where they guys are 35-40 and still only get probation. But it also depends on the case.

    Thanks for the info, I wasn't sure what the punishment for that was. Maybe you are right, but I hope dude gets to do some time. He took advantage of a 14 y/o (willingly) but dude still needs to pay for it.
