So... Alpy for Giannis. Let's attach the defensive highlights from the end of tonights game. How many picks are the Bucks throwing in?!?!?
Alpi played one of his most dominant quarters ever, and of COURSE the team and Ime wasted it. Still, I am very proud of him, and how good he's generally looked after coming back from his back injury. Hope he gets his lip patched up soon, bro is too handsome to be nursing a busted lip.
My son Alpi, please—seriously—don’t get yourself injured before the playoffs. We know very well what kind of beast you turn into during the playoffs. You’ve already activated “Tournament Alpi” mode too early. Don’t! There’s very little time left. Take care of Amen and KD as well—look out for them. But above all, don’t get hurt. Even if it means losing a game, so be it. At this point, it doesn’t really matter which seed you enter the playoffs with.
Not sure if he has been nursing an injury lately but the past two games he has been playing like an all star. That’s alpi that we know.
Stars want to play for Ime. I guarantee if any star comes here it'll be because they wanna play for Ime
After last night's 4th quarter in which he literally was doing it all in our comeback on both offense and defense, literally bleeding for the team and giving us a chance to win it if, this is all you haters can say lol. Once again, live look at the haters
This whole thing is a complete disgrace. The guy who made the block that sent the game into overtime risked a serious injury, fell to the ground, and nobody came to help him up or congratulate him. If Durant had done that, 28 people would have celebrated. They should trade Alpi to ease everyone's minds; this is really starting to get frustrating. (except Reed)
Don't worry when the pass come from Giannis (instead of other people), the open threes will magically convert.
Stars want to play for Ime because Ime doesn't hold any veteran star players accountable. He's a selective players-coach when he wants to be and an ******* to everyone else. Great way to set an awesome culture and workplace environment. No wonder the current team has such awesome team chemistry.
After KD made that r****ded pass, you could see him wanting to jump up and down in frustration trying to blame it on anyone but himself instead of getting into a good defensive position. Reminds me of KPJ. While I think a new coach could possibly resolve some of these toxicity issues... I also wouldn't mind moving off of KD this offseason. I don't care if it makes us immediately worse next season - it's the better move for our long-term outlook and growth of our team.
dafaq are you talking about, are you slow? What excuses? I am probably the most critical poster on this board of alpi
As someone who has repeatedly called Sengun out and been accused of hating on him (despite my explanation that I have Turkish roots and want him to do well, anyone blaming him for last night (Hakeem the great, calling you out) is being ridiculous. I have taken issue with his defense and rebounding efforts in the past, but last night blaming his defense for the loss is preposterous. He was very good most of the game and played with 5 fouls in OT, had to be careful. He's literally left on an island to guard 2 people on that pick and roll because Reed is really really bad at staying in front of his guy. Lat night was NOT the game to $itch about his play if you are being objective. His offensive efficiency has been MARKEDLY better of late, more like the Sengun of 2 seasons ago, so kudos to him for that. His assist totals would have been much higher except the Rocket shot very poorly last night. One last comment, his teammates not coming to him to help him up after that block or giving him kudos (with one exception) says a lot about the locker room. it also says a lot about KD who literally turned away from Sengun. I don't tend to blame Ime as much as some do for the Rockets woes, but one thing I'm not convinced of his his ability to manage a locker room and that right there was a prime example.
What do you see? It's ridiculous to still criticize a player who's taken so many blows and had a bloody face while playing for this team. Sometimes I don't like his game, but he does everything to win. Trade Sengun for Giannis, then you'll find another scapegoat.
