Dang, I am all for guys getting paid, but this is ridiculous, $42 for a WR1............too rich for my blood, now a rush edge who can influence every play on D OK.....but a WR1. Darnold made $5.3 last year, $12.3 this year and $25.3 in 2027, even with that I would prefer two really good WR`s for half that cost, the astronomical numbers for WR1 just don't have the impact for that amount of money

Gotta draft WR1 a yr before your current WR1's contract comes up, unless you truly have the WR1 in the NFL and even then you're going to wreck your cap for at least a couple of yrs during this contract. fortunately Caserio is really good working the cap.

That is an excellent role for her... I've liked (mostly) how this organization has carried itself since 1999

We will not speak of the dark (Easterbytch) ages

The Texans are still a marketing firm with a football division.

That doesn't mean marketing and maximizing profit isn't priority #1 for every NFL team.

Translation = can we quit with the vanilla offense and actually run a competent scheme with some creative aspects to it

We are setting up for pure smash mouth football. This is going to be a running team with great defense. We can still get creative with the pass game by passing on first down every once in a while, but I think they really want to control the clock and let our defense win the game. Safe, play-action passing to build Stroud’s confidence back up. They need to draft Price if he is available in the 2nd or 3rd to solidify the RB room. DT, hopefully OL, then RB and TE in the draft. If the DT we want isn’t available at 28, I think we trade down and pretty much go BPA.

The Texans have been operating this way for almost a quarter century and counting. They've lost the benefit of the doubt.

I'm hoping they can trade down and then draft Delp and Price and a DT in the 2nd. Plus have two 3rds.

Three 2nds and two 3rds is where the sweet spot is in this draft.
