For as horrible as this present administration may be, being an American is one of the greatest gifts bestowed on all of us.

Like I said, I've never even considered going to Iran. I'd live here before I'd ever live in any country in the Middle East. I'll never ever go visit any of those countries. No desire whatsoever. I just get disgusted when our citizens defend a pathological lying pig of a man who doesn't give a sh*t about them. Trump will always put himself first, and if that means swaying policies to enrich himself and his biggest donors, than he will do it without blinking an eye, regardless of how many Americans get hurt by those policies one way or another. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that.

My biggest challenge as of late is being able to separate all that is great about America from the knuckleheaded administration in power at this point.

It may take some time but eventually America will right the ship.

Regardless of how frustrating this administration is................
At least we can call them whatever name we want and not have to worry about retribution.

I have been on this planet for almost 60 years
I have seen the towers come down live.
I have seen the shuttle blow up live
But I also saw the US hockey team Beat the USSR in a miracle game live
I have seen the Astros win 2 world series live.

Regardless of anyone's opinion of who is in office this is still the greatest country in the world as far as I'm concerned.
If you don't feel that way it is your right as an American to say so.
and that's what makes this country great.
