This one is critical. Denver is breathing down our neck and has a joke of a schedule left. Also, one of Reed's only 2 losses as a starter this season came against Miami, so some payback would be nice.
I think fatigue more than anything else did them in at Miami. They'd played a B2B at home against the Kings, then flew to Orlando and played the next night(that was the 19-point 2nd half comeback), and then had to tip off against Miami in the mid-afternoon a couple days later. And keep in mind that the player Reed started in place of was Jabari. The Rockets are not the same team without him. Also, Jaquez and Wiggins are out in this one. They combined for 26 in that loss. Powell is a game time decision though and he missed that last game, so him playing would somewhat mitigate their absence. I guess that's my longwinded way of saying the Rockets should win this game if they play well.
Eta: damn.... home game !! Increases win prob though. Durant only playing 30min last night helps too.
I agree, unfortunately Rockets still haven't figured it out yet. It's never the games where they blow teams out, it's the games where it's close at the end. Miami will keep it close if not have the lead throughout the game = result not going to be good. Loss
I'll check the box score 10 minutes in and decide if it's worth my time, otherwise, I'm finding a full proof way to make my Saturday a good night.
Spoelstra coaches circles around Udoka. Ime scowls. But Miami is the perfect dumping ground for Katie.
