In my humble opinion one has to go.

I know KD is old but I would honestly rather keep him over Sengun.

I have absolutely no faith in Sengun being the lead dog on a championship team.

I hope the front office chooses wisely this off-season.

    both can go

KD is old, flawed, and a vibes/chemistry killer

Sengun is an inefficient post-up big with suspect defense that can’t shoot a lick…that would’ve been cool back in 2010, but in 2026, it’s gross

I'm in the both can go camp. Would think we might be able to get a top 10 pick this year plus pieces/matching salary for Sengun. For Durant I'd be happy for a mid round pick this year plus matching salary (hopefully not some albatross). Hopefully part of the return includes a defensive big with a decent shot. Then draft one of the guards in the draft in top 10 to pair with Reed and maybe get a Cenac in mid round. This would be my idea of a soft rebuild. If I could only pick one, I would chose KD to go. We had a fun, exciting young team last year. This year, not so much.

I’d keep both and trade Jabari for something that would exceed your wildest expectations of what a post-Jabari world could look like.

If stone can’t get a young star for KD, Sengun and other assets he should not be a GM. All these years of asset accumulation. Now it’s time to make that count. Do your job!

We will get our answer in the offseason, when Tilman if he is comes back......declares Phase 4.

This might be the 1st season under Udoka that the team has actually regressed and looked out of sorts in his Rocket stint.

    Lmao seriously?

KD is literally the bad guy in the old rom coms that they trick into getting into a luggage compartment on a plane that flies to Somalia or some **** while the main character gets the girl.

Keep Sengun and Durant. Get rid of Ime, bring a competent PG, trade Tari/DFS.

Depends on what you get back. If the rhetorical question is about just eliminating one with getting nothing back than it’s easy that it’s neither. Both are All Stars, have significant value on the court, and the team is better with them than without them.

The “fit” issue are really more about Sengun and Reed not fitting together defensively, and Sengun and Amen not fitting together offensively because neither can shoot worth a lick… could say the same about Tari nowadays too.
