As long as there are no lines at gas stations like the 1970s, we are good.

At what point does this Iran War become so bad for Trump that he decides to push the Epstein story as a distraction?

The tale being told since at least the 1960’s. If you don’t support US bombing a country means you actually support the other side.

Except this time the cherry on top is Trump and his cabinet gaslighted in saying it was Harris or the other side that would start a war. The other side is the war monger Trump wants peace. He wants a peace prize. He would never start a war in Iran. He would never ever ever do it.

Fast forward you don’t like Iran war? Ok then well you support terrorists.and that there is the cherry on top.

We're at three weeks and the ships stuck in the Persian Gulf are running out of water and food. The first 5 or so minutes of this provides more detail.

    Great song.

America at its best makes me proud to be an American. America at its worst makes me angry and ashamed.

There you go with your bullshiit fake news again. Greenwood was married and had children at the time. He received a 3-A deferment. A common hardship draft deferment back then.

Try harder breh. Your kind is truly disgusting. America would be even more amazing if you weasels do not take up our space and our oxygen.

Trump is ... Making Iran Great Again. It is all part of Trump's concept for a plan, a concept that he will no doubt make public in two weeks.

Congenital liars going lie. These types of sociopaths have different brains. They really don't know the difference between a lie and the truth. They have a less developed sense of morality than a 7 year old the traditional age of reason.

All Israel wants is to reduce Iran to the state of Israel and expand Israel. Very Hitlerian actually.

It doesn’t make sense because there’s no clear long-term strategy or defined end goal. The administration just reacts to the moment, doing whatever seems necessary today, and today that’s the price of oil, and tomorrow it could change, even if it contradicts whatever their shifting objectives might be.

Right. It's all a big con that reacts rather than plans.

I think it’s not so much a lie as a pattern of overconfidence that had clear warning signs from the start. Early military actions, like the quick strike on Iran’s nuclear sites and the removal of Venezuela’s leader, were successes, but they also highlighted a tendency to treat complex situations as simple. That overconfidence, combined with a lack of preparation and accountability, has contributed directly to the mess we see now.

This wasn’t just mistaken judgment in one operation. Decisions were made without going to Congress, without consulting the American people, and without serious negotiation with the parties involved. People with little experience were put in charge of high-stake (war or no war) negotiations with Iran. Advisors and supporters provided minimal pushback, enabling him to act unchecked, relying on instinct over reason.

The core problem isn’t just honesty; it’s the gap between confidence and capability. Statements like “only I can solve this problem” or “I know more than the experts” signal a style that prioritizes self-assuredness over counsel. Assuming those statements reflected true ability was the mistake of so many voters. Surrounding himself with yes-men instead of experienced advisors made miscalculations inevitable, and the consequences have been predictable, reactive, poorly planned actions that escalate into extreme failures.
