    Donald Trump doesn't get elected twice if there were not issues in the USA. So it certainly goes beyond Trump. How far does it go? Well, time will tell.

    As for Americans - they haven't really had to pay much of a price, it impacts the rest of the world before it does the USA. So for some Americans it is basically a form of entertainment. The World War II generation that lived through strife is dead.

    US warship believed to be carrying Marine ground troops to Middle East tracked off Singapore

    [IMG]

    The USS Tripoli (LHA-7) amphibious assault ship enters the Singapore Straits, as seen from Singapore, on Tuesday, March 17. 2026;
    it is believed to be carrying thousands of Marines and sailors to the Middle East is nearing the Malacca Strait off Singapore
    as it makes its way to the region, maritime tracking data showed.

    The amphibious assault ship USS Tripoli was approaching Singapore, at the southwestern edge of the South China Sea

    The Tripoli is believed to be carrying troops from the Okinawa-based 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), a rapid-response force
    of 2,200 personnel, after the Pentagon ordered the unit to deploy, according to three officials familiar with the plans.

    The United States will be very successful at the first phase of the war - because the USA is always successful at the first stage of the war, they will break the manufacturing and infrastructure and shop off communication. There is no one in history that is better at this than the USA and they have already largely done this. The problem is that isn't the complete war. I expect that the administration will do that and then claim victory --- but the problem is that, the USA sucks at the second part of the war, long term regime change --- the US failed in Vietnam, Iraq twice and in Afghanistan. As it is setting up, the USA will fail at this part again, because it doesn't have the desire to really nation build post WWII and because it requires skills that the USA just doesn't prioritize or have.

    Next up, Trump approves a false flag to get his ratings up. He has the dark triad of personality traits - narcissism, Machiavellianism, and psychopathy. He planned an attack on congress to stay in power. He recently joked about the terminal illness of a senator and bombing Iran "just for fun." He is capable of almost any atrocity that gives him more power and attention.

    This is why I’ve been wondering if a draft is actually a good thing in the big picture. Countries that don’t get touched and send paid mercenaries to do their dirty work, based on both history and personal experience, do not understand how serious it is to choose war.

    Even in this thread you find people cheerleading attacks on a country in which they hate 5-10 people that they can name while 90% of the country disagree with those 5-10 people.

    He really does project everything he is willing to do on others. Democrats will rig the election. His other big tell is calling every terrible thing he has done a hoax. The Russia hoax, the Epstein hoax, the insurrection hoax, the affordability crisis hoax, etc.

    Joe Kent, the director of the National Counterterrorism Center, announced his resignation on Tuesday, saying he “cannot in good conscience” back the Trump administration’s war in Iran., he posted about Israel factors..

    The types of people who would need this kind of shock are the type of people who would get their dad's personal doctor buddy to "discover" terrible bone spurs and get a deferment.

    It's not like this war is popular among anybody who isn't in the cult and those types will just find a way to blame Obama, Crooked Hillary and Sleepy Joe when they get drafted to fight in Trump and Bibi's war.

    one thing I like about this regime is that they really don’t try to hide how much they dgaf about the American people…they’ll tell you straight up

    you can’t say you were fooled or there’s no way you could’ve known

    Babe, wake up. A small part of MAGA turned on Trump and dropped a new stabbed-in-the-back myth.

    Those stats are unbelievable.

    @grok Verified:
    - 80% with Master's/PhDs: False. Adults 25+: ~18% bachelor's, 4.3% master's, 0.3% PhD.
    - Literacy: 89% adult (2023 World Bank/UNESCO), youth ~99%. Not 94%.
    - President Pezeshkian: Yes, cardiac surgeon.
    - FM Araghchi: Yes, PhD (Univ. of Kent).
    - Parliament: Many have advanced degrees (candidacy often requires master's+), but not "almost all" PhDs.
    - Women scientists: High female STEM enrollment/grads (top globally in some fields; ~35% of STEM grads female per recent UNESCO).
    - Ancient Persia advanced math/science: Accurate. Overall impressive education gains, but post exaggerates stats.
