JOFs whining again? It is certainly possible we won't win anything with this guy, did we win anything in the past 30 years? That's so common. In the meantime, getting rid of Jalen in exchange for KD has given us some real hopes. And I know most people are happy about the trade except some JOFs.
A solid guard rotation and KD 5-7 years younger yes......but this.....I dunno. The Hope is too brittle here.
Well yeah I agree...nobody expects FVV can be out even before the season starts.... To be honest, I think a 2-3 years younger KD would already be enough...But it is what it is, the reality does hurt...
From what I can see, once JG scores a bit, some people decide to crawl out of their holes. Last season, after scoring 25+ in one game and then maxing out at 7 in another, he completely disappeared. Still, last year’s team chemistry was better than this year’s.
I will say that I love Alpi as a homegrown All-Star. I appreciate him as a player and his contract is fantastic. I regret that we don’t have the opportunity to do more with him offensively, especially as a passer. all of that being said I choose Thompson over him 100% of the time. And I don’t think they are compatible, long-term. I was hopeful for this, but I think that the jumpshot development will come too slow. maybe neither of them even gets there, maybe both two but I think it’s gonna be a very slow burn. I’m watching the Knicks carefully and seeing if maybe Towns couldn’t be had for Sengun depending on what happens in the playoffs.
