He's historically been a good 3pt shooter and has good ball security. So, he would have significantly helped. But, even with that being said, I'm not that upset that he wasn't on the court. It just made the gaps our young guys have more obvious to everyone. If he was playing people would be saying every loss was because of a bad shooting night from FVV.
Waiting for a middle aged guy to fix a rebuilt team’s issues just exposed what core issue the supposedly rebuilt team has. No real talent.
Maybe he magically came back as prime age 26-29 FVV who was good for 19 and 7 on 37% three point shooting. Odds are at his age, after this type of injury, he will come back as a worse player than Reed Sheppard already is right now.
