Tennessee Titans Rebrand to Oilers Uniforms Permanently

This will all be in the past
When the Texans win the Superbowl in our own colors

 

The Columbia blue scheme were iconic colors. It was stupid for them to veer off those colors; and the proof is in the pudding, they switching back after 30 years of the dabbling in their Titanic colors.

heck, I wouldn’t doubt that they eventually switch the name back to Oilers, as they never really wanted to change the name; but they backed themselves into a corner with the Bob Lanier feud and sudden departure out of Houston. And to save face after Tennessee fans said they wanted their own thing and name, devoid of the Oiler past.

It's crazy another NFL franchise would alter their uniforms to pay tribute to the Houston Oilers. Their fans must get annoyed not having their own identity.

 

All I can do is laugh because you know this was done with the houston texans and their fans in mind. Their own fans came in second to another team's home and fan base

 

It's gonna make it even better when UH and the Texans (Rox too?) wear the "same" colors but have "Houston" on the front

You rebranded nearly 30 years ago and completely threw the entire Oiler name, logo, and colors in the dumpster. Now, after the teams in Houston (Texans, Rice, UH) tap into those LOCALLY historic colors, you rearrange your entire franchise's branding to try to claim ownership.
