It might be. Most ppl coming for Ime are Sengun fans blaming coaching for his lazy play & disgressing as a player or idiot fans wanting Reed Sheppard to start. The thing is if we win its never due to Ime's coaching, but when we lose its somehow ALL on his coaching. If he starts Reed and he sucks again, then Ime's fault. Ime will never win with you losers

I won’t pretend to know how you fix this train wreck of a franchise but I what I can say without a shadow of a doubt is that I like pie. Secondarily, I’d love to see what this team could do with a healthy veteran pg, healthy aqua man and KD. Lastly, the overall vibe is that EVERYONE is just collecting a paycheck. (& ownership is using the franchise as a status symbol/conversation piece/money maker)
I disagree with the thought he doesn’t game plan. He defensively game plans. I’m just not sure how much creativity there is in any offensive game plans.
Stone gloating about how Rockets is a very small org is damning to me. I’m starting to think they’re maybe too small, which might amplify the voices of a few loud or stubborn people to a fault. It might also explain why certain issues never seem to get fixed. I don’t think you want a huge, sprawling org filled with red tape and bureaucracy, but you also need to have some critical mass to have contrarians in there and negate the potential impact from cliques and echo chambers. Do you think anyone else in this org has enough power to override or challenge Udoka, when he has hired a bunch of his buddies to the coaching staff who will probably lose their jobs when he’s gone, brought in KD who’s another friend, and empowered Fred to this extent and gave him a fat contract and a major role he wouldn’t get anywhere else? He was allowed to build a fortress around him. And that might very well be the death of this era unless someone is brave enough.
We don’t get paid millions of dollars to figure out specifics, he does. We are watching for entertainment. He is being paid to create a winning entertaining team to watch. Again, making shots makes it more entertaining and the team more likely to get wins… so maybe the answer is sending the whole team to a sports psychologist and figure out why they go through slumps and can’t make free throws
Looking at the West for next season: Blazers is technically out of their tank era now. Dame could be back. Mavs: Kyrie will return and with a year two Cooper. Jazz, with the acquisition of JJJ, is likely to try harder with Lauri, Ace, and Keyonte. Their wins may vary, but what will you have is an environment of previous tanking teams no longer tanking. Rockets has to look at leveling up.
We should be in a place where we don’t have one of the worst offenses in the league. We get embarrassed night after night by teams much worse in standings than us cause they play a much better offense, move the ball better, create better advantages, have a more cohesive identity, more consistent processes and rules. Even on nights we win it looks horrible. The current standings just like last year are so close it’s mostly noise except OKC and Spurs, and it’s a fake 3rd seed just as we were a fake 2nd seed last year that got outed by the 7th seed in the first round. You don’t need further proof than that.
