I dunno I think his feel for the game is very high when he is up against subpar NBA teams he always goes off I think that shows his IQ is really high he can make the right play when his opponents aren't uberly skilled athletes that overwhelm him.
Tari, just keep on trucking no matter what we said about you. 16/5/3 on 62%/66% in 25 mins after the first two games.
Interesting development in terms of how the Rockets offense uses Tari. Years 1-3 three point attempts were 32% corner threes, 68% wing/top threes. Year 4 three point attempts so far are 56% corner threes, 44% wing/top threes.
I’m still on the boat of sell high and I’m a huge fan of Tari but he’s playing his way out do the price range of whatever Stone thinks he worth. If Tari shoots 40% from 3 at this volume for the season, he’ll get his payday from another teams and we lose him For nothin
Its a tough situation because KD only has 2-3 more years probably. Tari would be a great replacement for KD in the starting lineup next to Amen/Sengun/Jabari. We need to see if his basketball IQ improves this season. Last season Tari made a lot of boneheaded plays that cost us games
He still makes a lot of boneheaded plays. Tari averaging two assists per game. Right behind kd and amen but he doesn’t have the on court responsibilities those two have.
Derrick White has not been very good this year so far. Right now I would not even consider this trade even if FVV allowed it.
So, are we going to keep avoiding Eason’s major struggles? Bari was cold for a few games and this entire board freaked out. The last ten games, Eason has averaged 7 points while shooting 14% from 3 and there’s barely been any discussion about it.
Yep. We should also give Reed a chance to start, even though Okogie is probably the better choice for playoff seeding. We need Reed to be comfortable being integral to the offense by the time the playoffs start. He needs the last 20 games to get his mojo and build synergies with the starters. If he fails, at least, we know what he needs to work on in the off-season or if we need to assume he is not Fred's replacement.
I haven't avoided anything about Tari. Check other threads. At this point, IMO, he probably won't return next season because the Rockets will want to move on. After going strong, his recent play has reduced his value both to other teams and the Rockets. We are long past that tweet from 4 months ago.
Tari Eason bet on himself and it's looking like those guys with the 20x leveraged oil futures a few days back.
