How many actual shots did he take 43 fg attempts and 43 free throws? at least 30 of those free throws were from a shot i would guess. So.... 58-60 total shots taken. insane.

They aren't exactly The Spurs East. Pat Riley might show "professionalism", and Greg Popovich showed "jerkface" a-hole, but it's Riles is more F'em gangster and Popovich more "values" oriented. Spoelstra adaptable to all of it

I predicted that Luka will get 50 FTs some day. Or SGA.

 

If it happens, I would expect it to be a big man.

 

Harden led the league in FTA for something like 7 consecutive seasons. He's not a big man. Any player whose style is using his body to attack the defender gets lots of calls. Giannis is another one who may have a chance to break Bam's FTA record.

 

I think big men are more likely to have outlier games where they are going to the charity stripe 30+ times due to intentional fouling and/or expendable big men who are only in the game to commit fouls in the paint.
