If you’re a freshman in college and didn’t perform well in your classes and failed some exams then you did better your sophomore year in no way are you still a freshman. Sheppard was given an opportunity but failed couple of tests then improved his performance year 2. He went through the processes in terms of 2 off season workouts/prep, 2 summer leagues and 2 pre seasons with several NBA games played in 24-25. A rookie means you are in year one of being a part of this process.
Not to compare high draft picks (just kidding, Ima compare them) Reed Sheppard has shot higher than 50% from 3 in 18 games this season. So congrats to JG for hitting 50% of his field goals in a game!
Dude, Udoka won’t even play him now unless he has to 30 plus minutes a game. He stubbornly plays Tari who is pretty bad right now. I don’t think even castle would have come in and been good here either. not to mention Jalen green didn’t make the ringers top 100 rankings nor did he makes espn’s top 25 under 25. Udoka is a good coach but the situation is demanding that he should be developing into a championship caliber coach on both sides. And he is far from it. He is not jumping on the moving train.
I sure miss having a player who could explode for 15-18+ points in 1 qtr…..We now have a top 10 all time score who is struggling to score in our system when teams decide to key in on him…. He’s the exact thing our offense is missing and he wouldn’t need to be number 1 with KD should of traded Alpi and Tari for KD FVV JG KD DB Bari??? / Capela / Adams even with Fred hurt JG DB KD Bari ???
@Bobbythegreat made such a random and weird choice to hate on Green full time, Green was always just a young talented player with tons of potential but inconsistent and stumbling in a toxic and poorly coached environment. Jalen Green may never become what he was projected, but the hate will still be odd... He wasn't here long enough to garnish dislike due to failed playoff series after playoff series... I mean he only played one series for us... I get hating players that we payed a lot of money for or gave up a lot for that came and stank it up but a draft pick during a tanking era that never developed is kind of sour....
