For sure, but compared to his 2nd term, his 1st term was pretty harmless. Until the attempted coup, of course.
his 1st regime was still incompetent, smooth brained, and low IQ, but he still had a bunch of people around him who weren’t total yes men and could stop him from doing his worst he bungled Covid, and Jan 6th was the nail in the coffin…he was also able to add a SC Justice which was very damaging But now? Who’s stopping him if he does another Jan 6th? Is JD Vance going to uphold the constitution like Mike Pence did? I don’t think so Trump doesn’t give a fck about anything anymore. I remember during his 1st term he was talking about things like the Platinum Plan for the black community and investment into HBCUs? This time around, he didn’t even bother. Matter of fact, this time around, he withheld $350 million worth of grants for HBCUs. He proposed cutting $64 million for Howard University.
I disagree. From the non-stop propaganda, lies, and denial of the seriousness of COVID, he made things worse. The division started as he encouraged and praised no masks, and encouraged big crowds of no maskers for his rallies as thousands were dying of COVID daily, and nurses and doctors were begging people to stay home and stop the spread. He then started months before the election spreading more propaganda and lies about voting and elections. He was not a bit harmless.
It's as if the last year didn't even happen with these people. I'm telling you...once he goes back into his rally mode, even his supporters that aren't happy with him right now will all get back on board. They're that DUMB.
You left out what Trump considers the icing on the cake. He loves Trump, and claims he is doing one of the best jobs in all of the presidents in the history of the United States. More than anything else Trump wants a loyalist who will praise him and toot his horn, and especially one that has a massive, multi-platform social media following exceeding 70 million, when you include Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.
Today Trump said.... “The United States is the largest Oil Producer in the World, by far, so when oil prices go up, we make a lot of money,” By "we" he sure doesn't mean those of us at the gas pumps filling the tanks in our cars.
