Funny how his play went down after his teammate called him out on social media - he will probably demand a trade. Last year we played an offense built around him and were better than we are this year. I am fine letting him be traded, but we need some shooting and a lob threat at Center...... DD
You can't put the blame squarely on Sengun. Can we get rid of UJOKER first? I see other lineups where the coach is utilising all 12 players and i see Ime going with a 8 man rotation like we are in the playoffs in a 82 game season. Not only does he not know how to manage playing minutes, he is terrible at making changes to the lineup. UJOKER is absolutely the main problem, he's trying to stick with what worked last season when NBA teams have already figured us out. Also UJOKER is a fukn stubborn mule.
If we really could have gotten Giannis for a package centered around Sengun then we truly are colossal morons.
At the time, I believed the team almost HAD to take Giannis if offered. Cant pass up on 1-A talent like that. Even more than with Durant. Its not "fan rooting interest" enjoyable, but it's title contending improvement
He's been playing awful for a while now. He's not an awful player. Something isn't right with him either physically or mentally because he's never been this bad before. He didn't just forget how to be a good basketball player all of a sudden.
Sengun was correctly extended below max for a reason. Because he was good to very good, but not "THAT guy" But trying to make him play like "Baby Joker" was a reach. That's fine by me. Poeltl is actually a great defender. But the Sengun problem is, the very next game against Poeltl, he'll go 5 for 15, just because. He's high variance game to game, sloppy shooting for no reason (I made those Poeltl numbers up. But I just checked a box score..) Sengun LITERALLY just went 6 for 15 against Raptor's Sandro Mamukelashvili. Poeltl didn't even play! Was more right than I even wanted to be LOL. Yes that's the Sengun experience lately
Yes he is, but he doesn’t fit how Ime is playing him, and he is pissed that he isn’t getting the ball late. DD
Dickerson did not help increase his value with his arrival, probably only helped Bari and Reed. I doubt Milwaukee wants Sengün, are probably wanting Herro and Wiggins instead.
