For the same reason people act like Netaynhu is a good man. My point is that they all lie, and have all committed atrocities upon innocent people. Iran's regime is evil, no doubt, but I have a hard time stomaching the love for Netaynhu. His attacks on Gaza killed an estimated 100,000 civilians, with over 56% being women, children, and elderly individuals. Many think the number is over that, because they say thousands are buried under rubble of destroyed buildings. An unprecedented surge in amputations during the conflict was reported, making Gaza home to the highest number of child amputees per capita in the world. You might not find that horrific, but I can't change how you view winning.

They have both committed both war crimes and crimes upon humanity. We need to stay out of their war games and attacking each other like they've always done and always will and focus on our own country.

I wouldnt frame it as good guys vs bad guys. Every country has the same right as the US to become the global powerhouse. And we certainly didnt get here by moral authority. Just look had the hundreds of thousands of civilians we killed in WWII.

that said, I wouldnt put the US/Israel on the same level of moral authority as Iran. I dont believe either country is killing its own civilians by the thousands or intentionally striking civilian targets.

I never said Iran was good . In fact I do think they are worse than the US . Part of that is our economic superiority gives us the ability to get what we want without having to kill .

What netanyahu and his government have done to gaza is unforgivable. Two wrongs don't make a right . Oct 7th was bad . How Israel had treated Palestinians before Oct 7th was bad . Terror attacks against Israel in its history have been morally wrong .

If we look back at history , Iran has many valid reasons to be adversarial to the west .
