BAM 83pts 20/43FG - 7/22 3P - if KD shot 22 3's per game we'd be so good

What was the point of that? Feels like the league has been trying to create attention with all the fighting and craziness this year. Bam getting 83 just doesn't make sense.

 

Now you know it takes about 44 Shot Attempts to break Kobe's old 2nd place record.

It only took 7 treys.

 

You wouldn't have guessed KD's highest.

I think a lot of players could hit 100. But it would be an obvious breakdown of team play. 44 shots for Bam, 46 for Kobe. That's a ridiculous volume and looks orchestrated.

 

I am never impressed with these type of games. I didn’t like it when Kobe did it I didn’t like it when Robinson did it to win the scoring title. Just trying to shoot as much as possible. Clearly just trying to set a record (which he didn't). Just only trying to get the points and not looking to win the game or work on improving as a team. I would actually be embarrassed if my team would do such a thing.

 

The Heat have an objective though and that is to avoid the Play-In....getting snubbed as an All Star, he had to respond. Great guy.

I think Bam also had like a 30 piece against the Thunder.

Him and A'ja making a baby that kid is very likely going to be a dawg and a lab experiment.

He is on a roll for sure. I expected for him to drop 59 against the worst team but 83 lmao.

 

Dude shot 43 fkn free throws. A gleague team could beat prime GSW if they had a player shoot that many FT.

 

The cool thing about that is actually Adebayo started out as a Draymond Green type of Defense only guy.

Becoming a scorer is not easy peasy.

Normally bigs are not great FT shooter, they cannot even make 25 out of 45......

 

Does anyone else think this 83 point “record” will be short-lived as other stars who consider themselves to be more talented than Bam decide they need to gun for it? How long until that happens, especially as we approach the season’s end and some teams are no longer playing to win?

I haven't watched the game but with 43 free throws I imagine the Wizards were just charging into Bam like bulls while flailing their arms like windmills every time he touched the ball. How else could he end up on the line that much?

 

insane number of FTs and Spo kept him in the game despite being up 30 or so
