    Yes, I did see yesterday that there were some instances of people falsely alleging the attacks were directed against the Mayor, at least in the immediate aftermath (there was a National Review article pointing this out). When was that CNN segment?

    If those explosives went off it would have killed New Yorkers on both sides of the protests, but given what we know now it’s false to present it as “anti-Muslim” violence. Reports (from your hated mainstream media) indicate the attacks were ISIS-inspired.

    I will grant you that the mainstream media can be cautious to lay blame on Muslims for an attack while facts are being gathered, because there is sensitivity towards blaming something on Muslims (an all too easy target) and getting it wrong. Would they show the same caution in a different scenario, like an attack by a white man against a minorities? Perhaps not. I’d need to look at comparable scenarios side by side and compare the immediate coverage, which may not be easy. If you’re aware of a systematic analysis along those lines, share it.
