The question with Giannis is more that he is at the stage of his career where he starts to lose athletic advantages to his peers. For players who relied on those to dominate they tend to drop off significantly as age and injury catches up - think Dwight, Blake Griffin, Westbrook, etc. Its less of how many games we win today and how many games we would win for the next 3-4 years with Giannis vs Sengun. That being said - it's not necessarily about raw wins. We want to be real contenders - Giannis gets us there in the short term - its just a matter of how long can we continue to be a contender with an aging athlete and an even older super scorer....also worth noting - Amen and Giannis are probably not playable together.

I think injuries for him yes, I do think he has maybe a 4 year window left for his athleticism to really drop off a steep hill. My thing is he's an elite defender who still gets to rim at will. Imagine him guarding Wemby, instead of Alpi. The defense becomes better and Reed can play more, with an elite finisher at the rim.
I thought that was supposed to be Jabari... an above average shooter who could guard 4 positions on the court. I keep hoping Bari "LockSmith" will grow out of being as soft as charmin... still waiting
Bari is not a 3rd pick......he is decent, he is not even better than Aaron Gordon offensively or Dejounte Murray, Trey Murphy. Maybe he can get there.
The least worries, I do not like that he is mingling with them Streamers and shet..... He is way too social ......and in a bigger market, you'd never know what he is gonna do. As you said, he is not going to be the best version of Giannis. It gives me goosebumps to pair up a soon 38 year old with a 31 year old Giannis. Giannis is also pretty sensitive, if he hears about them burners.......
