Shai is a 3 Shot Attempt guy at the 3 pt line and Hartenstein is a non shooter. Not saying anything but it has been done.
Great post TimDuncanDonut!!! That sums up my thoughts as well….getting tired of caring more about the team than its owner and general manager.
I’ve tried walking away from the Rocket relationship back in the KPJ and Green era. I don’t go to the live events anymore because I was paying to be upset. The Rocket relationship is such a time drain with no return even now. But I can’t stop. I’ve tried in past, and currently trying now. I’m like I can’t care any longer—> Go Rockets.
Jalen Green was a failure of a pick Jabari also hasn’t lived up to expectations Tari Eason can only play part time at 25 Amen can’t shoot for these reasons Stone must go. He couldn’t build a roster regardless if Ime
they got wemby and the rockets never had a chance at chet, paolo, or cade. He whiffed on his first draft though minus Alpi and didn't do anything this deadline to help the team out
Even KD doesn't get easy shots. Everything is a battle for every player to get a shot. That's bad offense coaching.
Doubt it, he is like what 55 already, he is no use when hitting 60 or 65 obstinate....he would be amongst the oldest GMs in the league when the whole league has been trending younger. This is because the league never stopped seeking innovative minds. The Rox might be really outdated.....in this department. If they really want to keep him, rename him Vice Prez of BBall Operations and let him take over more of a supervisor role overseeing contracts.
Well - Stone isn't very likely to be fired this off season, even with a first round exit possible. Stone will point to the fact that FVV and Steven Adams were out and that materially made the team a different team. Udoka will obviously agree with this sentiment, as these are guys he wants and relies upon for his system. Once you consider the money invested in Udoka and Stone, they will be back in 2026-2027 if they want to be back. However - I don't know about Stone guaranteed to be here for "years and years", if the Rockets don't advance in the playoffs next season, it is possible that Stone is let go or reassigned via "promotion" while someone else is brought in to make the primary decisions. One thing I will say is that everyone points to FVV and Adams as big loses and bad luck - and I agree that they both have materially hurt the Rockets win chances by being out, no one is talking about how incredibly lucky the Rockets have been to have KD all year long and not out for injury. The team next year I believe will look different - I think that they will approach teams or at least listen on deals for Sengun and possibly Sheppard if they can get a big interior player that can score and defend better. The window would be smaller, but would take some heat off the organization and potentially allow them to compete at a higher level. Right now - even with Adams and FVV, they are not in the top tier of teams.
Do you think if they end up being the 7th or 8th seed and get trounced in the first round, it would make Tito think differently?
Bug eye will only get fired if he starts losing money for ferntits. And he’s too much of a snake to ever let that happen.
Rafael Stone has always reminded me of someone else but I couldn't figure it out until just now. He looks like Billy Joel. I prefer Billy Joel to Rafael Stone and I'm not really a Billy Joel fan.
