Oh the US wouldn’t be ordering them to march toward Syria. I was alluding to the Kurds being removed from power across large swaths of Eastern Syria by the new Syrian regime like a month ago. Why would they fight in Iran?

The US needs multiple $1.5 million dollars missiles to take down one $50 thousand drone.

    That math ain’t matching.

No wonder Trump is begging Iran for a ceasefire. Those infinite supply of Patriot missiles ain’t so infinite after all.

    For money.

The hope is that in combination with agents already on the ground, they can finish off the government without more precious Israeli and American lives having to be risked. Some ground chaos still necessary.

They'll also help clean Iranian influence out of Iraq. Their primary function is always to protect the Iraqi lol fields from Iraqis.

One of the missile lunched from Iran got into Turkish air space, following Iraq and Syria airspace. It's shot down and pieces fell into a Hatay.

No info on whether it was targeting Cyprus or Incirlik, which is a US base.

Could be flase flag, or a mistake. We'll see.

The Israelis have announced they’re going to kill the new Ayatollah too.

Maybe this really is a Holy War. Zionism vs Twelverism.

If we (the US) do not define clear achievable objectives OR resign ourselves to strategic defeat; this conflict will very much become our Ukraine.

Ayatollah Khamenei got replaced with a younger, more extreme Ayatollah Khamenei

At what point do we cut off Israel as an “ally?”

this is the most lopsided relationship in history

50% of the reasons for why we allow ourselves to be Israel’s b*tch are religious in nature, it’s so damn ridiculous

they pump propaganda to our citizens to enrage and divide, control our pedophile president and numerous other politicians, and drag us into war as we send them billions in aid and weapons

The irony of the situation is that there happens to be a country in Europe that can build interceptors for a fraction of the cost the US does and has the most experience in the world with dealing with Iranian drones. Too bad, the US basically cut off military and intelligence ties with Ukraine.

If we had just maintained ties, we could've easily sent defence contractors into Ukraine to learn how the Ukrainians build interceptors so cheaply and at scale as well as their defence patterns with dealing with Iranian drones. The Ukrainians have the most advanced air defence network in the world right now and it's not even close.

Interestingly, the Europeans still have ties with the Ukrainians. The British and French have Ukrainian advisors on the ground in Cyprus and the UAE for their bases. The Americans, meanwhile, have nothing.

They said they will kill every leader until they get one they are okay with. This may be why the U.S. is talking in terms of weeks while the Israelis are saying months. But of course, there is NO guarantee they will get the regime change they want. It would be a first if they actually accomplish that using air power alone. Thus, we are hearing the arming of rivals. Been there, done that, with disastrous outcomes.

Exactly. I think if Americans really knew the cost here in this case vs what "the enemy" is throwing back at us, from a pure conservative economic standpoint, the math will be jarring to everyone.

This is why we can't have healthcare, good social security safety nets, and public education. Yes... we dominate in the air, and seas. We can pull off some crazy assassinations with our Delta force badasses with 10 million dollars in training each soldier, and another 5 million in equipment each soldier with some billion dollar tech per unit & air support.

However for every dollar we spend, "the enemy" is spending a penny if even that. And while they lose more lives, and bear more destruction to deal with, we do pay for it regardless with a deep declining quality of life here in the US because of these foreign adventures, and the corruption that follows that helps line the pockets of the global billionaire Epstein class while everyone else is scratching and clawing to pay their electric bill this month.

We don't have a BADASS military just because we are special with God-Given talents as Mericans. We have a BADASS military because we the people pay a boatload of our own tax dollars every year that could/should be going to a better quality of life that we are not getting. And on top of that, these military adventures only make us less safe in the eyes of most Americans where now we are in a situation where we will be bringing back heightened security measures at the airport, and more looking over our shoulders with terrorist attacks.

Here's all the evidence you need to understand that air strikes alone will change nothing on the ground in Iran, and you'll have to put at the very least 200K soldiers in Tehran at all to give Iranians a fighting chance at standing up a resistance to the IRGC.

Trumpers are claiming that this is some sort of salvation that Trump is giving the Iranian people, but the fact is if he's not willing to actually put boots on the ground then they have no chance at anything other than the nation becoming a failed state with different extremist factions fighting each other for power in a primative civil war.
