I have no doubt that he is correct that the US has air and naval superiority. That was NEVER the question. We could wipe out every country in the world's air and naval capabilities if we truly wanted to. China might put up a fight, and Russia would threaten us with nukes so we wouldn't do it... but literally every other country we have this capability of.

The question is about the power vacuum on the ground, the Iranian revolutionary guard... which there are hundreds of thousands of, and have the guns on the ground, Hezbollah, and how the hell you expect FROM THE AIR...and FROM THE SEA to build a government led by the people, and not by the next Ayatollah in line or the IRGC.

Why don't we put this Navy seal and 100,000 troops on the ground to do the job of true regime change, put a democratic government in power, give them security to stay alive for 48 hours afterwards, and then come pound your chest.
