I don't dislike the idea, but it would never happen so you might as well trade Alpi. At times I love his ego, and at times I hate it. I think it's what's getting in the way. It's also the engine of his success so there's that.

Tari has not been shooting well in the last 8 games or so. If you swapped out Jabari for Tari, the result would probably be better. Unfortunately, Ime played very little the lineup of Sengun, Smith, Durant, Thompson, Sheppard. So the sample size is too small to know for sure how it would work.

The result might be better but its a bandaid just like the double big was. Double big was to offensive rebounds what the Terror Twins were last year. Create havoc and manufacture points off of steals and insane defense (Terror Trio because Dillon was here) or offensive rebounds (Double Big). They are both gimmicks.

Blood is getting into the submarine now and we no longer have the ability to hide Sengun because Adams is gone, Dillon is gone and Amen is expending his energy on the offensive side of the floor (poorly). We also now have two equally bad defenders in Reed and Durant so leads feel insurmountable unless Reed goes TaxManMode.

It's a bandaid only because Durant is not long term and you have to play him when he's here. When you have Durant in the lineup, you have to surround him with 3 perimeter defender because he is not going to chase speedy guys out there. It forces guys like Jabari and Tari to defend outside. Tari is good at defending at the POA. But when his shooting goes down, it doesn't work so well anymore.

I would trade Durant for a 3&D guard in the starting lineup, someone like Brooks but better at ballhandling and creating. Durant still have good trade value but it's going down as he gets older. I still think Sengun-Amen-Reed can work if you put the right personnel around them.

I get the allure, but she isn't nearly on the level of other beauties.

just a narrative designed to push Reed into the starting rotation by DD...

funny considering he called getting CC a "worthless signing" - but now he wants him to start - lol!

Anything to push the Reed agenda, right? lol

and i like Reed... I hope the kid continues to develop... but i sure aint advocating for future HOFer KD to defer to him! lmao!

Just off the trip of my head, he had a triple double against Denver this year too.

Well when you realize that a 37 year old turnover prone guy is the problem late - and the ball is better suited in the hands of our baby Curry - then you will know ball.

    Interesting, but probably won’t happen.
What I do think is possible and should happen, is to give Reed a well deserved place in our starting lineup, and get Eason back to the bench - he had a nice run as a starter earlier this season, but since Allstar break he seems kind of lost offensively. Perhaps if he gets off the bench it will be easier for him to get his shot back.

You don't trade a budding superstar like Alpi.

This is ridiculous. If anything , Tari needs to come off the bench and Ime needs to reinsert Josh back for balance.

Alpi is a cornerstone. He's not DMo.

Rockets with the upset tonight? I hope but something tells me Fox is going to be a problem (along with the obvious Alien in Victor)

Budding superstar? Sure man it's wild how the budding superstar is a Center who can barely shoot 50%

have you considered applying for the Spurs coaching position? If you’re able to get it, they may implode before the end of the season and Wemby could demand a trade to the Rockets.

Weird isn't it how many threads turn out right after people crap on them.

We are better with Capela and Reed/KD starting and Sengun off the bench.
