We are currently half a game above the play-in tournament. Put your kids through college.

 

How does the Durant trade have any impact on Sengun and Thompson still not developing reliable perimeter shots? Also, the VanVleet injury would have crippled that team, and the Rockets do not own their 2026 first-round pick. Sengun and Thompson need to look at themselves in the mirror and address their shooting flaws.

 

The moment teams tune a coach out means death is imminent. For somebody. We are here.

 

If this was a video game, I would like to just reload the save from right before we traded for KD and just give that plucky young team one more year together.

I was so hyped when we made the trade, but hindsight is 20/20 and now I wonder if we made the wrong move (or kept some of the wrong pieces).

Since it’s real life, though, all we can do is hope our front office can alleviate some of the problems that ail us, and some of our young guys can fix their glaring weaknesses.

Sengun, with his back to the basket, just casually looking up at the ball bounce off the rim and not bothering to rebound it, was kind of hilarious in a frustrating way…

 

I really liked him. I just don't get why we traded him. Amen and Sengun are horrific 3 pt shooters, and Adams and Clint sure as hell don't take those shots.

The trade centered the team around KD entirely and he's taking all the shots. The vibes aren't good, they just aren't, and the team's entire identity since him coming here has been KD and the Rockets.

I don't know, the team had a young and hungry vibe last year, that's gone. I felt like they played more for each other and now they just don't.

 

Team chemistry is in the toilet. Ime with some not so nice words about Sengun in the press conference as well.

 

Glad I bailed in the 1st quarter. I could tell this was going to be an L.

 

This team misses Dillon Brooks - Rockets played hard last season and especially on defense. When I watch this team now, they look like they think they can turn it on whenever they feel like it and that is overconfidence, lack of effort, and just being plain stupid. I am tired of seeing this team go full stupid. Start playing like you give a damn and maybe we can avoid being in the play-in.

 

Today he deserves all the not so nice words in the world.

All-star snub? **** that, both Alpi AND Chet don’t deserve it this season. Should’ve been James Harden instead
